Who This Is For
IFA is for independent founders: people who build and own what they ship. Solo founders and small teams. Builders and founders both, if you carry the vision yourself. Any country, any stack, any stage, including before your first launch.
The door is open. Nobody who shows up is turned away, and nobody is asked to qualify. If the manifesto speaks to you, you belong here. You describe yourself in one line when you join; we take your word for it.
Why we keep it this way
At this stage, drawing precise boundaries would be deciding on behalf of a young community that is still growing and evolving. Definitions of who counts as what, for which purposes, are exactly the kind of decision members should make together, and they will: when the alliance reaches real mass, the membership will collectively define the details and the mechanisms, and those definitions will be adopted by vote, not decreed.
One distinction, saved for later
Belonging stays open to everyone, always. Specific rights, like voting, or being counted in a public claim about our membership, will eventually need a definition, because a membership number has to hold up when someone checks it. Those definitions are for the members to write, not for this page, and none of them will ever close the door.
If you sell your venture, take a controlling investor, or grow into something bigger: congratulations, and you are still welcome here. What that means for future voting rights is a decision for the future members, not for this page.
